Dental Sealants
Dental sealants are a preventative treatment most often recommended for children, commonly on the permanent molars as soon as they come in, usually between the ages of 6 and 12 years.
This procedure involves using a light-cured resin to cover and seal off the developmental grooves in the tooth anatomy that are most prone to develop decay. The dental sealant forms a smooth coating over the natural pits and grooves of the tooth surface to prevent tooth decay in this vulnerable area.
We can apply dental sealants in just one short, comfortable visit to our practice. Dental sealants do not require any drilling. They will blend seamlessly and go unnoticeable.
